About the event

The Friday Threesomes are back! Come down and celebrate three fresh and diverse new exhibitions. We will also reveal the stunning new gallery makeover of our Incubator Gallery thanks to the wonderful voters of The Breeze- 'Workplace makeover' and all the wonderful sponsors.

1. The People’s Gallery - Toi ka rere - Waihanga & Kōwhaiwhai noa Exhibition : Join us to view an exciting display of modelling, visual art, design and audio/video demonstrations and to celebrate a set of kōwhaiwhai designs that have been produced, through research, to help tell the stories of what the Tauranga City centre landscape once was. In association with Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA)

2. The Incubator Gallery - Little Adventures by Claire Delaney McLeary. We are delighted and excited to be introducing Claire Delaney-Mc Cleary and her solo Exhibition -'Little Adventures’. Artist, Illustrator and author Claire lives and works in Rotorua and originally hails from the UK.

This body of work will delight the viewers, tells us that those little adventures are just as important as the big ones, they are all small steps in the right direction to get you to where you are going eventually!

3. Whare Taonga Gallery Okorore Ngā Toi Māori -@Te Wa o Nāianei- Exhibition by Justine Munn. We welcome you to celebrate this exhibition that represents the artist's final body of work as part of her Masters of Māori visual art through Toi oho ki Apiti - Massey University. Justine explores thoughts and emotions through the expressions that she observes in the people around her. These figurative paintings reflect people in situations that are 'of the moment.'

Gather at the Incubator Creative Hub at 5.30pm
