The Village Cinema Arts documentary programme ALL ABOUT ART, is back for 2025!
THE BOOKSELLERS is a 2019 documentary that offers a captivating glimpse into the world of antiquarian and rare book dealers, focusing primarily on those in New York City. Narrated by Parker Posey, the documentary celebrates the passion and dedication of those who work with rare books, exploring their unique personalities and the challenges they face in preserving history. It also delves into the future of the rare book business and the personal connections people have with books.
We will also be joined by ROUND & ROUND BOOK EXCHANGE and KATJA POTT ART & BOOKS who will be selling a selection of eclectic and intriguing books before and after the documentary.
Doors open at 1pm with eftpos available.
